PARTNERING WITH OTHERS WHO ARE SEEKING TO BLESS AND REACH THEIR COMMUNITIES FOR CHRIST
Over the past year, God has connected us with many others who share our heart for weaving a fabric of love and care in the places where we live. Two groups of people who have been incredibly influential in helping us on our journey are a handful of staff with the Navigators Neighboring Initiative and leaders of the Parish Collective community.
The leadership of these groups, as well as several practitioners in these community-focused ministries, are based in Seattle, WA. As we have been praying and dialoguing with these leaders about our ministry with the Oikos Project, there has been a growing excitement about how we all might collaborate together in the work of the Great Commission.
We have been invited by these leaders to visit the Pacific Northwest this summer with a desire to see how the Lord might be calling us to partner, network, and engage with their ministries in some way. We also believe this summer mission trip will better equip us in our own work with the Oikos Project.

In addition to these wonderful friends in Christ, we will be connecting with several other individuals and families who are living out the Biblical principles of oikos in their communities.
The Oikos Summer Mission in the Pacific Northwest will focus on partnering and networking with others who are intentionally weaving a fabric of love and care in the places where they live.
We will come alongside these community-based missionaries to serve with them, learn from them, and encourage them through some of our own experiences and resources. The hope is to build each other up in the specific ministries God has called us to.

THE NEW PARISH & NAVS NEIGHBORING
These videos showcase some of the ministries we will engage with and the various ways these missionally-minded people (people just like you and me) are becoming salt & light in their communities. The Gospel is profoundly impacting the lives of people around them. Watch as they share about how they are seeing God work through their intentionality and hear about the types of dreams God is allowing them to realize.
“Build houses and settle down; plant gardens and eat what they produce.
Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.”
